In the city of stars, salons mean serious business—as do the stylists behind them. Take the Streicher Sisters, co-founders of STRIIIKE salon, who have made a name for themselves in Los Angeles with their well-rounded approach to beauty: Ashley handles the hair, Kristie feathers the brows, and Jenn does the makeup. Plus, if prepping you for a night out isn’t enough, these sisters have the scoop on all the best spots near their salon. Here, the sisters talk everything Beverly Hills, and where they take their A-list clients.
Do you have a favorite beauty supply store in the area?
Kristie: I really like Larchmont Beauty and you can get some great Korean beauty finds at Amore Cosmetics in Koreatown.
You pamper people all day—where do you go when you want to be pampered?
Kristie: Day to day, I soak at home in my bathtub with my new favorite bath oil from Oliverum and get acupuncture weekly with Katya Mosely. I do enjoy a massage when I can from either Auggie at Caudalie in Venice or Tomoko Spa in Beverly hills.

Walk us through your ideal food day in Beverly Hills.
Ashley: My lunch would be the "trust me" from Sugarfish BH and dinner would be sitting in the courtyard at Gracias Madre—chips and salsa and spicy margaritas.

Do you have a morning routine?
Ashley: I make strong coffee at home from my aeropress (a birthday gift that I'm now obsessed with) and sometimes hike around my neighborhood and sometimes take a yoga class at Set and Flow.
Kristie: Bulletproof coffee every morning and private reformer pilates sessions with Ashley Hoffman two to three days per week with an occasional hike in Mandeville Canyon on the weekends.
Jenn: I actually love drinking coffee at home. But if I go out I love Verve on Melrose. Its great coffee and a great place to sit (outside or in), and very close to STRIIIKE.

Favorite hotel in Beverly Hills and why?
Ashley: I love the L'Ermitage (right down the street from STRIIIKE) because their newly remodeled rooms have ample space and lighting for hair and makeup.
Best breakfast/brunch shop?
Kristie: The Beverly Hills Hotel Cabana Pool Cafe for brunch is my favorite at the moment. It’s never too crowded and the menu is simple with healthy alternatives. I love the iconic pink and green color scheme and banana leaf motif—it’s very retro 1950’s.
When you want to sneak out of the salon for a break, you head to?
Ashley: Bar Bouchon.

Best spot for "local" fare.
Ashley: The chopped salad at La Scala.
Favorite local workout?
Kristie: LIT Method. The best way to burn and have fun while doing it!
Where do you go when you want to escape the city?
Kristie: This is actually why I love to live in L.A. You can pretty much head two hours in any direction and end up in the most amazing places: Palm Springs, Laguna Beach, Ojai, Lake Arrowhead, or Santa Barbara.

Describe your daily uniform and where in Beverly Hills you might purchase those items.
Ashley: I dress differently everyday. My favorite places to shop near STRIIIKE? I LOVE tenoversix, Rachel Comey, Clare Vivier, COS, Opening Ceremony, and Reservoir.
Describe your ideal night out in Beverly Hills.
Jenn: I don’t really go out in Beverly Hills. The only place I go to often is Bouchon. Wally’s is a really great wine store that has some great cheese snacks as well.

Favorite place to see art?
Kristie: Night Gallery, Hauser Wirth & Schimmel, L.A. Louver. There are so many great galleries and art installations popping up in L.A. right now.
Where do you go when you want to be inspired?
Kristie: Even just walking the streets of downtown L.A. or Venice is inspiring for me. It does make me miss living in New York though…nothing compares.
How do you get away, everyday?
Jenn: I spend a lot of time in my car. I bought a nice car for this reason and it’s where I do find some peace. Music, podcasts, news, catching up with friends on the phone...these are all the things I can do while sitting in traffic—lemonade out of lemons.
